Half-term football fun at Britannia!
Britannia, part of The Co-operative Financial Services, has a solution for football-mad families looking for fun, free, things to do this half-term holiday when ‘Fred the Red’ - official club mascot of Manchester United - embarks on a tour of Britannia’s Somerset branches.
Bringing half-term football fun to Britannia - Manchester United’s official provider of savings accounts and mortgages - Fred will call into four Britannia branches in the county to meet staff, customers and supporters of the club.
The mascot will also be available to have his photo taken with young fans plus, there is a chance to win signed Manchester United memorabilia in a prize-draw quiz.
Young fans of Manchester United can meet Fred at the following branches:- Tuesday 27 October: Britannia’s Street branch - 107A High Street, Street, Somerset - between 12 (Noon) and 4:00pm
- Wednesday 28 October: Britannia’s Bridgwater branch - 2 Fore Street, Bridgwater, Somerset - between 10:00am - 3:00pm
- Thursday 29 October: Britannia’s Yeovil Branch - 1 High Street, Yeovil, Somerset - between 10:00am - 3:00pm
- Friday 30 October: Britannia’s Burnham-on-Sea branch - 14 College Street, Burnham-on-Sea, Somerset - between 10:00 - 3:30pm.
Richard Davis, affinity relationship manager at Britannia, said: “We are delighted to welcome Fred to our branches as guest of honour for our football themed fun-days.
“Supporters have the opportunity to meet and have their photo taken with the mascot and the Britannia team will be available to talk about our exclusive range of Manchester United savings accounts and mortgages.
“Our junior Save & Support account, for instance, enables young fans to support their club and, at the same time, learn the basics of saving and money management.”
